Why are there annoying pop-ups all over my smartphone’s screen?

What’s the purpose of adware programs?

Intrusive online ads are a very common complaint from both PC and android users. In both cases the problem is caused by a specific type of software called adware. Programs of that type exist for the sole purpose of generating those all sorts of pop-up, banners, box messages, etc and making it nearly impossible to use your device without interacting with them. “Virus” is an adware, that has been specifically developed to get on android devices and annoy its users with the various online ads it displays. The reason why those adverts are so incredibly annoying is because for each click/tap they receive, the developer of “Virus” gains revenue. This is method is called pay-per-click.

How do they get on my device and are they dangerous?

It is important to note that, as annoying as they are, adware programs/apps are not dangerous to your device. In most cases, the biggest problem with them is that they heavily obstruct your regular working process by displaying more and more adverts that sometimes cover your whole screen. The only way to get rid of those rage-inducing pop-ups adverts is to have the adware removed from your smartphone. To do that, you will need to know what has gotten you the unwanted piece of software in the first place. When it comes to android smartphones, the possible ways via which an adware might get on your device are limited. Usually “Virus” gets installed on your phone by being bundled with another application. In fact, in most cases the adware is a built-in feature to that other app, rather than a separate piece of programming. Therefore, the only way to fully remove “Virus” from your device, is to have the application that contains it uninstalled. Under this article, we have prepared a detailed guide on how to do that, so if you’re currently dealing with an adware, go ahead and give ur guide a try.

What about the ads?

Lastly, we ought to inform you that even though adware on itself is not dangerous for yous smartphone, the ads it displays may sometimes contain potential security hazards. Therefore, it is essential to remember to avoid tapping on them no matter how intrusive they may get. In most cases the ads are okay and won’t threaten your device’s safety, but there’s still no need to needlessly expose your phone to potential dangers. “Virus” Removal From Android
